Sentencing of Jordan Fricke
On October 3, 2019, Jordan Fricke, convicted of murdering Milwaukee Police Officer Matthew Rittner, was sentenced to life in prison without the possibility of parole.
The Milwaukee Police Association (MPA) is pleased that Judge Wagner appropriately gave Fricke no chance at freedom ever again. Fricke’s actions warranted the harshest penalty that the state allows.
Nothing will bring back our beloved Matt Rittner, but knowing that Fricke will be locked up forever helps us feel a sense of justice and brings a bit of closure to this incredibly painful ordeal.
The MPA thanks all the investigators, DA’s Office, and judge for making sure that Fricke was held accountable for his actions.
Even though the case has concluded, we will never forget Matt and will always support his family, forever.
